Some Live, Some Die

The perfected Godless bureaucrat, as she goes about being oh so careful in her daily work Kathleen sucks her share of resources from the duped that pay her. She’s building a bank account. The over-arching demands of her boss cause her to deviate from the bureaucrat’s strict code of inaction long accepted as the bedrock of top tier management in government. It must cause her unexpected stress to have to solicit funds from government controlled but ostensibly private concerns and that’s too bad she thinks. A few less tanks and troops and there would be plenty of funds to produce bad media vehicles that show positive results from a bad law—and the volumes of bad regulations. She worries too. It’s all relative and one must do what one must do. “Some live, some die.”

Not even a slight rise in her blood pressure nor a hesitation out of conscience—long ago molded and worked to be more pliable as her clay accepted the ingredient, water, so she could knead, pull and press it to make it conform as the angst of a little girl came across the desk of a perfected Obama bureaucrat. No thought could be detected in the agency as it is rarely found in any, this health and human services specializes in much but not health or human services. An easy decision within the framework of what a top bureaucrat is expected to do, the Vogons* of our Nation say very easily, “Some live, some die.” The answer was an effortless no. One good judge decided the answer is to be yes and so since responsibility is no longer hers, she must casually allow the life-saving transplant if it comes in time. Still no effort required of Kathleen. Her name is Sarah, Kathleen.

The bureaucrat like all of them knows the distinction well and conveniently keeps the concept of control by the few very much in control over the masses. The masses are subject to the rules as it always must be in the perfected system of government as we know the scale it is now, the growth industry for our nation is the nation and its growing force of a federal workforce, each coached how to exert control, what to say and what to not say, and what levels of fines, penalties, fees, taxes, lawsuits or threat of lawsuits, indictments or threats of indictments are to be issued through official notifications, protected by an official judge somewhere who believes regulations are equivalent to constitutional law.

Kathleen, being perfected, will retire some day and then perhaps launch a career for speaker’s fees paid by the gullible still that would pay her for words of un-wisdom. And much of her presentations may even be used for future democratic ads to show how smart their top tier is. So one low information voter after another is compelled to forever vote co-conspirators into office.. Their targets are all offices, every level, and every county that allows pay for no work, handsomely compensated commissioners, managers, whatever title that might suit them as the fraud continues. In any event, there is no effort required of one of our former Governors in this case—concerning Sarah, Governor.

She won’t have to work the logistics when the time comes to acquire, protect, transport and deliver the tissue. She won’t have to do the surgery and she certainly won’t be called upon to deliver post-surgical care. No, she won’t be involved in the monitoring and aiding Sarah in recovery, the testing, the drug applications—none of that. She won’t have to do a damn thing. “Some live, some die.” Those around Kathleen might repeat the cliché that suites individuals invested in the department in order to assuage even slight guilt feelings that threaten to interfere in their latte time causing a taste just slightly sour. “No skin off my nose.” “I don’t have a dog in this hunt.” “It’s none of my business.”

There are top tier bureaucrats and thousands who hope to make top tier someday. The civil servants who practice following the rules written by their own partners have a chance to rise if they follow them better than anyone else in the agency and then they might become perfected too! After all, there is top tier and there are the masses. One doesn’t want to be stuck in the masses because you might not get the lung you need, or the heart, liver, kidneys, eyes or whatever organ or tissue that might save your life, hearing or vision. It is after all, relative. The law of relativity which was invented by man who needed an excuse, is wonderful thing because it means so much to a society which has decided that standards are dangerous to their power and insures the entrenched bureaucrat another day of survival. Oh, what a glorious thing it is! When a judge can decide for you, you’re protected by those who might otherwise complain and since everything is relative, it’s important to make as many people feel like you’re really looking out for them and continue to vote for the caring Democratic Party.

“Some live, some die.” Kathleen, we are indebted to you for such an ageless quote. It perfectly sums the internal system of your democratic machine.

How we have the patience to not occupy their so-called work space and physically run them off our property and out of our town, I do not know.
